This two volume documentary source book set covers the history of Benjamin F. Meek and the B.F. Meek & Sons company from the genesis of his move to Louisville in 1882 until its sale in 1916. Volume One includes over 100 original documents pertaining to the life of Benjamin F. Meek, the B.F. Meek & Sons company, and their fishing reels, and a supplement with photos of many of these reels. Volume 2 contains reproductions of nearly all known Meek and related catalogs and brochures. Together, they offer as complete a history of B.F. Meek and Meek fishing reels as will ever be put in print.
